Conditions We Treat
Paws4Paws offers in-home therapy to support dogs with a wide range of conditions — from chronic joint conditions and soft tissue injuries to post-operative care and preventative treatment. Every plan is personalised, and every session is designed to restore function, reduce pain, and enhance your dog’s quality of life.

Arthritis / Degenerative Joint Disease
Dogs with arthritis (also known as degenerative joint disease) often experience joint pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. In-home rehabilitation focuses on relieving discomfort, preserving joint function, and supporting daily movement through manual therapy, laser therapy (PBMT), and tailored mobility exercises. Treatment aims to improve comfort, slow progression, and enhance quality of life.

Post-Surgery Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation supports recovery after surgeries such as cruciate repair, patellar stabilisation, hip or elbow surgery, IVDD surgery, and amputations. In-home treatment includes strengthening, range of motion work, proprioceptive retraining, and soft tissue techniques. Laser therapy (PBMT) is used to reduce inflammation, manage pain, and support tissue healing. Programs are tailored to the procedure, recovery stage, and functional goals.

Joint Conditions
Rehabilitation for joint disorders including hip and elbow dysplasia, cruciate injury, patellar luxation and other developmental or degenerative joint pathologies. Treatment targets pain, joint instability, and secondary muscle atrophy through condition-specific protocols, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, laser therapy (PBMT), and movement re-education to restore function, rebuild muscle mass, and improve joint support and mobility.

Muscle and Soft Tissue Conditions
Soft tissue injuries such as muscle strains, tendonitis, ACL injury, and muscle atrophy can lead to pain, stiffness, and impaired movement. Our treatment approach combines therapeutic massage, soft tissue mobilisation, stretching, and targeted exercises to support healing and improve mobility. Laser therapy (PBMT) is also used to reduce inflammation, enhance circulation, and accelerate tissue repair.

Neurological Conditions
We provide in-home therapy for dogs with neurological conditions such as disc disease (IVDD), wobbler syndrome, fibrocartilaginous embolism (FCE), degenerative myelopathy (DM), lumbosacral disease, or peripheral nerve injuries. Treatment focuses on improving balance, coordination, proprioception, and mobility through manual therapy, targeted exercises, laser therapy (PBMT), and neurostimulation to support neural repair, regeneration, and recovery.

Senior Dog Mobility Program
Senior dogs commonly experience joint degeneration, muscle atrophy, reduced balance, and mobility decline. Our in-home rehabilitation supports ageing dogs through tailored interventions that address pain, maintain strength, and improve movement. Treatments include soft tissue techniques, therapeutic exercise, laser therapy (PBMT), and proprioceptive training to enhance comfort, mobility, and independence.

Injury Prevention and Relaxation
Preventative treatment helps maintain musculoskeletal health, optimise performance, and reduce the risk of injury. Suitable for active, aging, or sedentary dogs, these sessions focus on soft tissue care, movement quality, and recovery. From canine athletes to couch companions, every dog can benefit from proactive support and relaxation-focused treatment.

Strength and Mobility Programs
Our tailored strength and mobility programs are designed for dogs recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, or simply staying strong and active. These proactive, in-home sessions support muscle development, joint stability, and overall mobility — making them ideal for aging pets, dogs with physical challenges, or healthy dogs looking to stay fit and injury-free.
