Sandra’s Story

Sandra’s journey into canine rehabilitation began with her dog, Chito, who has been her greatest inspiration and steadfast companion. In 2012, Chito encouraged her to shift her focus from academia, where she worked as an anthropologist, to pursuing her passion for helping dogs live healthier and happier lives. Now at 15 years of age and despite several health challenges over the past few years, including spondylosis, several disc herniations, and lumbosacral disease, Chito is still thriving. His resilience is a testament to the benefits of years of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, laser therapy, and a carefully modified home environment, all of which have supported his longevity and quality of life.

Chito continues to inspire Sandra’s dedication to delivering effective, evidence-based therapies that improve mobility, manage pain, and enhance the well-being of every dog she works with.
